Starting my typographic poster

I have taken a lot of inspiration regarding colour from Reid's work so far. I think bright acid wash looking colours are fitting for my theme and stay true to the aesthetic of graphic design of this era. 

I decided to instead of using real pictures in my design to create block colour and shapes from images, I think this is effective in creating contrast in my work, this has enabled me to play around with clashing colour a lot more. Next I need to look further into typography and how to arrange my text. I also have a lot of space on the page at the moment which needs filling
