typographic poster imagery

There was a lot of empty space which felt like it needed filling in my poster, so I decided to find an iconic figure to use on the other side of the poster.  I decided to use the cat woman, who was an iconic punk figure in the 70s

I traced an image of her on illustrator and made the edges a lot more rough and reduced the colouring so that I had just a few really bright colours

She fits really well into the poster and fills the space in a very effective way adding more depth of field and depth of colour. She clashes with everything else. I really like this.


I also added text such as the date and place of the exhibition but I will need to reconsider placement and maybe colour of these as they are hard to see agains the background and don't really stand out like important information which they should.
